As the years go by and time continues to pass us by…
It is important to reflect upon our personal growth, understand our surroundings, our communities but most importantly reflect upon this magnificent creation around us.
When we think about the creation of the universe, it is unimaginable to think that humans believe that it came about from a big bang!
Will they not then believe?
Ayat Al Qur’an - Surah Al- Nisa (The Women) - (4:82)
أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ وَلَوْ كَانَ مِنْ عِندِ غَيْرِ ٱللَّهِ لَوَجَدُوا۟ فِيهِ ٱخْتِلَٰفًا كَثِيرًا
Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction.

Ibn Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ said, “Reflect deeply upon the creation, but do not reflect upon the essence of the Creator. Verily, His essence cannot be known other than to believe in it.”

Reflection Point
When we reflect over the existence of the universe and the world we live in.
It causes a person to humble themselves.
Why?
Because it shows how insignificant we are in comparison to the creation of the universe itself.
Did you know?
The Universe is constantly expanding. Researchers have tried to measure the universe’s current rate of expansion in two primary ways: by measuring distances to nearby stars, and by mapping a faint glow dating back to the infant universe. According to National Geographic.
But do they not know that this was revealed in the Qur’an more than 1,400 years ago!
Ayat Al Qur’an - Surah Al- Nisa (The Women) - (51:47)
وَالسَّمَاءَ بَنَيْنَاهَا بِأَيْدٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ
And We have built the heaven with might and indeed We continue to expand it.
Reflecting upon the words of the Qur’an and the creation of the universe is a cause for us to increase in our emaan and come closer to our creator. It causes one to increase in performing acts of worship and obedience.
By reflecting over the ayat of the Qur’an and pondering over its meaning causes one to feel a great sense of purpose and fulfillment in ones life.
