This week we will be looking at some of the prophets and messengers of Allah.
The many wonderful stories that are narrated to us throughout the Qur’an, provide us with amazing insights and reminders about the nations that came before us..
This week we will only be sharing Quranic Ayaat, as the verses from the Qur’an are many..
Ayat Al Qur’an - Surah Nisa (The Women ) - (4:163-165)
Verily, We have inspired you (O Muhammad SAW) as We inspired Nuh (Noah) and the Prophets after him; We (also) inspired Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and Al-Asbat [the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)], 'Iesa (Jesus), Ayub (Job), Yunus (Jonah), Harun (Aaron), and Sulaiman (Solomon), and to Dawud (David) We gave the Zabur (Psalms).
And Messengers We have mentioned to you before, and Messengers We have not mentioned to you, - and to Musa (Moses) Allah spoke directly.
Messengers as bearers of good news as well as of warning in order that mankind should have no plea against Allah after the Messengers. And Allah is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise.
Ayat Al Qur’an - Al-An'am (The Cattle) - (Quran 6:85-87)
And Zakariya (Zachariya), and Yahya (John) and 'Iesa (Jesus) and Iliyas (Elias), each one of them was of the righteous.
And Isma'il (Ishmael) and Al-Yas'a (Elisha), and Yunus (Jonah) and Lout (Lot), and each one of them We preferred above the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns) (of their times).
And also some of their fathers and their progeny and their brethren, We chose them, and We guided them to a Straight Path.
Reflection Point:
Throughout our lives, we always come across companions that we believe to be dear to us. They provide us with useful insights, plenty of reminders and advice at times of need. We don’t always notice them at first glance, but as we reflect, we start to understand the people that are most dear to us.
If that's the case with companions that we meet throughout our lives in this world.
Then what about the prophets and messengers who came to deliver glad tidings of the hereafter?
Should they not be even dearer to us?
Each prophet and messenger, coming with their own story and message that we can learn from.
The problem is that many of us don’t even know who they are, and their stories.
So for the community, we have designed a beautiful comprehensive list of Prophets mentioned in the Qur’an, taken from the authentic Tafsir of Ibn Kathir.
It’s a delightful infographic that has been designed to make it easy to read, understand and share.
As our online community continues to grow, it becomes even more important for us to share the benefits with others. It’s a must that our infographics reach all corners of the world and that we share the beauty of Islam and its rich past throughout time.
Don’t forget to share the infographic below with others!
