Knowledge…

A key that opens most doors in life.

From the day you were born.

Until the day you pass away.

You would have been continuously learning.

The only problem…

Is when..

A person gets tired of learning.

And thinks they know enough!

They start to act without knowledge.

Whether it be in our Deen.

Or in our Dunya.

It is one of the main reasons for the downfall of mankind!

Because it creates ignorance.

So first things first..

Equip yourself with Islamic knowledge.

The basics of your deen.

So they you can identify the tricks of the Shaytaan.

And…

Equip yourself with the adequate knowledge.

In order for you to seek your provision.

Because without these forms of knowledge, your lost!

So as the Summer begins to wind down..

It’s vital for you to instill the importance of knowledge.

In the hearts of the Muslims.

Instill a desire to learn in others.

And take the opportunities to impart it on others.

Because if you are a Parent..

A student..

An uncle or an auntie..

An only child!

You have an important role to play in the life of others.

Today we travel to Finland 🇫🇮   ✈️

Finland is the country most consistently cited for this specific balance — high-performing education and a genuinely healthy, low-pressure parent-school relationship, rather than one crowding out the other.

Finland's education success is attributed to strong community and parental support, where parents trust teachers and participate actively in their children's education, with schools collaborating with local organizations to create a supportive network around students. But what makes it a genuine "balance" rather than just heavy involvement is how that involvement works.

Finland isn't "more" parental involvement than South Korea or China — it's differently balanced involvement: trust-based, communication-heavy rather than supervision-heavy, and deliberately designed so a child's success doesn't depend on how much academic help their specific parents can provide.

Muslim Population of Finland 🇫🇮

Officially, only 20,876 people belong to registered Muslim communities according to Finland's 2021 census — just 0.37% of the population.

The community is roughly 75% Sunni and 25% Shia. Growth has been rapid: from just 2,700 Muslims in 1990, to about 20,000 by 2003, to well over 100,000 today, driven almost entirely by immigration. There are now more than 30 mosques and dozens of Islamic communities across the country, concentrated mainly in Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Turku, and Tampere.
