As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmutallahi Wa Baraakaatahu
It’s your Sunnah Infographics Family here.
We hope you are well and in good health and safety.
It can sometimes be overwhelming to comprehend the magnitude of the hereafter.
Simply because it’s something that we have never seen or experienced.
We often remind ourselves and our families about Jannah..
But forget to warn them of a blazing fire.
Whose fuel is men and stones!
Let us continue, to avoid the sparks..
Ayat Al Qur’an - Surah Al Tahrim (The Prohibition) (66:6)
O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded.
1 Hadith
Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Prophet, (ﷺ) said, “Paradise and Hellfire argued with each other. The Hellfire said: The tyrants and the arrogant are in me! Paradise said: The meek among people and their poor are in me! Allah judged between them: You, Paradise, are My mercy that I bestow upon whomever I will. You, Hellfire, are My punishment with which I punish whomever I will. You will both be filled.”

Reflection Point
So the Hellfire and the Paradise engaged in argumentation.
One boasting to the other, who would be inside it.
One..
A truly blissful abode.
And One..
Severe punishment and torment.
Which one are we striving for?
I think the answer is very obvious...
But what about our actions?
Are they in line with the actions of the people of paradise?
Sometimes, we can loose track of our purpose here in this world.
And fall into actions that take us away from the Paradise and closer to the Hellfire.
And likewise.
We can perform the actions that draw us closer to paradise and distance us from the Hellfire.
But even in knowing that the Hellfire exists..
We are still not able to fully imagine the severity of it.
With it's unimaginable punishments.
Let me ask you a question.
Have you ever slightly burnt yourself?
While cooking..
Sunbathing (in secluded areas)..
Camping...
Open fires..
Or even chemical burns.
If so.
Then this is enough of a deterrent that we have from the fire, in this world.
SubhanAllah.
The simple fact is that we should always remember our purpose in this world and perform the actions, that will protect from the Hellfire.
"Allahumma atina fid-dunya hasanatan, wa fil-akhirati hasanatan, wa qina 'adhab-annar (O our Rubb! give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the punishment of the Fire)
