1 Hadith
Narrated Jabir (RA): On an 'Eid day, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) would return by a different road from the one he had taken when going out (for the 'Eid prayer.)
[Reported by al-Bukhari].
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ اَلْعِيدِ خَالَفَ اَلطَّرِيقَ } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ 1 .
1 - صحيح لغيره. رواه البخاري (986)، وله شواهد ذكرتها في "الأصل"، ومنها حديث ابن عمر الآتي.
Hadith 2
Nafi’ reported: Abdullah ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, would wear his best clothes on the days of the two Eids.

Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Ibn Hajar
عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ الله عَنْه كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَغْدُوَ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى

Hadith 3
Jubayr ibn Nufayr reported: The companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when they met each other on the day of Eid, they would say to each other, “May Allah accept good deeds from us and from you.”
Grade: Hasan (fair) according to Ibn Hajar
عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ قَالَ كَانَ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا الْتَقَوْا يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ يَقُولُ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ تَقَبَّلَ اللَّهُ مِنَّا وَمِنْكَ
