As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmutallahi Wa Baraakaatahu,

It’s your Sunnah Infographics Family here!

We hope you are well and in the best of health and emaan…

Making dua throughout our days of fasting is one of the best times to make dua!

In today’s reminder we will share an ayah and a hadith on the virtues of calling upon Allah (by his names), especially during this blessed month of Ramadhan.

Ayat Al Qur’an - Surah Ghafir  (The Forgiver) - (Quran 40:60)

And your Lord said: "Invoke Me, [i.e. believe in My Oneness (Islamic Monotheism)] (and ask Me for anything) I will respond to your (invocation). Verily! Those who scorn My worship [i.e. do not invoke Me, and do not believe in My Oneness, (Islamic Monotheism)] they will surely enter Hell in humiliation!"

Reflection Point

Even in the month of Ramadhan, we often get consumed by the normal day to day tasks of life. With that in mind, we always have to remind ourselves that we are in a state of striving and worship. One of the keys to keeping ourselves in check is by making constant supplication throughout our days. Whether we are at work, cooking, meetings, driving or even sleeping. We should never forget to call upon Allah constantly, for everything and every situation. Abdullah ibn Busr reported: A man said, “O Messenger of Allah, the laws of Islam are too many for me, so tell me something I can hold onto.” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Keep your tongue moist with the remembrance of Allah.”
