Ayat Al Qur’an - Surah Al Furqan (The Criterion) - (25:72)

وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ ٱلزُّورَ وَإِذَا مَرُّوا۟ بِٱللَّغْوِ مَرُّوا۟ كِرَامًا

And those who do not witness falsehood, and if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by it with dignity.

Reflection Point

As a Muslim, it’s important to always be aware of your surroundings and the subtle actions of others.

Your surroundings can differ depending upon the country that you live in, the people that you surround yourself with or simply the media that you expose yourself to!

Why do you have to be aware of your surroundings?

Because your surroundings always rub off on you, whether you are aware of it or not.

Let me give you an example.

As you go throughout your day, whether it be work, school, university or travel. At the end of a long day, you will always find that your clothes have remnants (smell) of the places and the people you have been around.

Your thoughts, feelings and actions are affected in exactly the same way.

That's why we can sense positive energy and negative energy!

With the celebration of Halloween, taking place on the 31st of October (tomorrow).

It’s important to not allow the celebrations of others to rub off on you and your family. It's important that we educate ourselves about the origins of these celebrations and where it originally came from.

So let's do a quick fact check and find out a little bit more about it's origin.

If you do a simple Google search, you will find that the celebration is deeply rooted in shirk and polytheism.

It is referred to as the Samhain festival, where the souls of those who had died were believed to return to visit their homes, and those who had died during the year were believed to journey to the otherworld.

So intentionally or unintentionally, a person is celebrating the dead!

This is not from the deen of Allah and not from the tradition of the prophets and messengers.

So to safeguard you, your families, your communities and the Muslims across the world. It is a must that we spread awareness about the dangers of this festival as quickly as possible, before the start of the celebration tomorrow!

By sharing and spreading this week's informative infographic far and wide, you are doing your part to spread awareness.

So share TODAY before it starts tomorrow!

Remember...
