This week has been a very traumatic and distressing week for the Muslim Ummah as a whole.
With the world witnessing scenes of oppression, conflict and bloodshed in Palestine, it brings a tear to the eye.
Ayat Al Qur’an - Surah Al Tawbah (The Repentance) - (9:71)
وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍ يَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ وَيُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَيُطِيعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ سَيَرْحَمُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
The believers, men and women, are Auliya' (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another, they enjoin (on the people) Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do), and forbid (people) from Al-Munkar (i.e. polytheism and disbelief of all kinds, and all that Islam has forbidden); they perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give the Zakat, and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah will have His Mercy on them. Surely Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.
1 Hadith
وعن النعمان بن بشير رضي الله عنهما قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " مثل المؤمنين في توادهم وتراحمهم وتعاطفهم، مثل الجسد إذا اشتكى منه عضو تداعى له سائر الجسد بالسهر والحمى” ((متفق عليه)) .
Nu'man bin Bashir (May Allah bepleased with them) reported: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever".

Reflection Point
Lets ponder over the last year..
It really has been a frightful year..
The earthquakes, the wars, the bloodshed, the promiscuity, the lying, the oppression..
The list can go on and on.
So pondering over the last year, and reflecting upon the events that have taken place across the world.
One can only come to the conclusion that we are in the end of times.
With the inflictions taking place this week and over the years, it is also important to look at our ownselves and our actions and analyse what we have put forth for the life that will never end.

It’s a must that we donate for the sake of our brothers and sisters suffering in Palestine and across the world.
We must also memorise the attached dua and encourage the Millions of Muslims in our communities across the world to supplicate with it insha Allah.
