Khadīja bint Khuwaylid رضي الله عنها
An amazing woman & wife who had unwavered support for the Prophet ﷺ at a time of need.
A wife who comforted and consoled him at a time of need.
A wife who supported him financially in the early days.
A woman who was generous.
A woman who was a true example for the Ummah.

Ayat Al Qur’an - Surah Al-Ahzab(The Confederates) - (33:6)
ٱلنَّبِىُّ أَوْلَىٰ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَأَزْوَٰجُهُۥٓ أُمَّهَٰتُهُمْ وَأُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَرْحَامِ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلَىٰ بِبَعْضٍ فِى كِتَٰبِ ٱللَّهِ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُهَٰجِرِينَ إِلَّآ أَن تَفْعَلُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَوْلِيَآئِكُم مَّعْرُوفًا كَانَ ذَٰلِكَ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مَسْطُورًا
The Prophet is more worthy of the believers than themselves, and his wives are [in the position of] their mothers. And those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allah than the [other] believers and the emigrants, except that you may do to your close associates a kindness [through bequest]. That was in the Book inscribed.
Hadith
Abu Huraira reported: The Angel Gabriel came to the Prophet ﷺ and he said, “O Messenger of Allah, here is Khadijah coming to you with a dish of stew, food, and drink. When she arrives before you, greet her with peace on behalf of her Lord and myself. Give her glad tidings of a palace in Paradise made of reeds, wherein there will be no turbulence, nor fatigue.”

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ أَتَى جِبْرِيلُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَذِهِ خَدِيجَةُ قَدْ أَتَتْ مَعَهَا إِنَاءٌ فِيهِ إِدَامٌ أَوْ طَعَامٌ أَوْ شَرَابٌ فَإِذَا هِيَ أَتَتْكَ فَاقْرَأْ عَلَيْهَا السَّلَامَ مِنْ رَبِّهَا وَمِنِّي وَبَشِّرْهَا بِبَيْتٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِنْ قَصَبٍ لَا صَخَبَ فِيهِ وَلَا نَصَبَ

Reflection Point
As we reflect over the Prophets ﷺ fondness and love for Khadijah.
We also find that Allah ﷻ and his Angel Gabriel conveyed the glad tidings of Paradise to her in the above mentioned hadith.
As the team here at Sunnah Infographics was designing the resource.
We realised the importance of instilling the qualities of the mothers of the believers in our daily lives.
In our families, our spouses, our children and our communities.
So here are some beautiful reflection points to take note of.
Oh sisters..
Be a support for your husbands, your children and your extended loved ones.
There is nobody better at it than you!
Just like when the Prophet ﷺ, came running home after his experience of revelation..
She comforted him and reassured him.
And prepared him for the tremendous task ahead!
Oh brothers..
Turn to your wives as a support and consolation for the difficulties that you face in the outside world.
The world that we live in is a very dangerous one.
So seek comfort in your families and your womanfolk.
Oh younger generation of Muslims..
Learn the qualities of righteousness from The Prophet ﷺ, his wives and his righteous companions, who left an example to be followed.
For sure we will all be questioned about our adherence to it.
And rewarded for the good that we do.
If it upon sincerity to Allah and in accordance to the authentic Sunnah.
And lastly, spend time together.
Helping, learning, supporting one another.
As these are the meaningful memories that stay with us.
Your time in this world is very limited.
So value the time that you have together.

This week, we have designed a very beautiful Infographic regarding the virtues of the Prophets ﷺ first wife, Khadīja bint Khuwaylid رضي الله عنها.
It has been designed to remind us of her status among the wives of the Prophet ﷺ and her lofty qualities as a Muslim woman. The Infographic is also a reminder to prepare for the launch of our new resource tomorrow Insha Allah.
