As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmutallahi Wa Baraakaatahu

It’s your Sunnah Infographics Family here.

Hope you are well and in good health.

In a world where taking loans and debts are encouraged by banks.

Putting society into even more financial difficulty.

Where many are not able to pay the money back.

We ask the question.

Who is the truly bankrupt person?

Let's lend a helping hand, to get out of the hole.

Ayat Al Qur’an - Surah Al Nahl (The Bee)  (16:111)

(Remember) the Day when every person will come up pleading for himself, and every one will be paid in full for what he did (good or evil, belief or disbelief in the life of this world) and they will not be dealt with unjustly.

1 Hadith

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Do you know who are bankrupt?” They said, “The one without money or goods is bankrupt.” The Prophet said, “Verily, the bankrupt of my nation are those who come on the Day of Resurrection with prayers, fasting, and charity, but also with insults, slander, consuming wealth, shedding blood, and beating others. The oppressed will each be given from his good deeds. If his good deeds run out before justice is fulfilled, then their sins will be cast upon him and he will be thrown into the Hellfire.”

Reflection Point

When we think about bankruptcy..

We often connect it to money, debt and banks.

The common story of a multi national company or public personality filing for bankruptcy is the common story of financial news in this day and age.

But when we consider the grand scheme of real bankruptcy.

There's no comparison.

The person who will come on the day of judgment, with good deeds!

But yet…

Along with it comes an equivalent amount of bad deeds..

From the slandering he committed against others..

The killing he committed unjustly..

The consuming of wealth he stole from others..

The verbal and physical abuse he gave to others..

While not considering, that it would follow him to the ultimate bankrupt state in the hearafter.

To the point where the good deeds become null and void.

Completely gone!

Nothing left..

And now..

Other peoples bad deeds will be thrown upon him.

And he will be cast into the Hellfire!

SubhanAllah..

Scary!

So..

What do we learn from this?

We learn to be upright and not destroy our good deeds with evil deeds.

Stay away from abusing others.

And fulfil the rights that others have upon you.

Be just and fair!

So that you don't end up like the truly bankrupt person.
