Is it regular?
Or once in a blue moon.
If so..
Then there is an art to it.
So let's pick up the paintbrush.
And learn how to structure our greetings of peace among others.

Ayat Al Qur’an - Surah Al Nisa (The Women) - (4:86)
وَإِذَا حُيِّيتُم بِتَحِيَّةٍ فَحَيُّوا۟ بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْهَآ أَوْ رُدُّوهَآ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ حَسِيبًا
When you are greeted with a greeting, greet in return with what is better than it, or (at least) return it equally. Certainly, Allah is Ever a Careful Account Taker of all things.
1 Hadith
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “The young should greet elders with peace, the passerby should greet those sitting, and the small group should greet the large group.”

Reflection Point
In the world we live in today…
It is far from peaceful.
With the constant bombardment of false news...
Violence, war and futile entertainment.
You barely get a chance to rest your mind.
So it’s upon us to forge out that peace of mind for ourselves.
But the question is..
How do we do that?
One of the ways we can do it.
Is by spreading the greetings of peace among each other.
A greeting that is given to those who enter paradise.
A greeting that creates love between the hearts.
A greeting where those involved make supplications for one another.
The true supplication of peace and tranquility…
Are we not in need of this?
If your answer is yes!
Then it's time to start spreading the salaam between one another.
More often!
But how do we do that?
Here’s a very simple formula…
1) Young —> Old
2) Walking —> Sitting
3) Small Group —> Large Group
It's that simple!
And there's no escaping it.
Because you certainly fall into one of those categories!
So no excuses!
So spread the salaam amongst each other.
And foster more peace and harmony in your homes and your communities.
For verily, you should know without doubt.
That your Lord Allah, is As-Salaam - The Source of Peace السَّلاَمُ
And through the practice of our Messenger Muhammad (ﷺ).
And through the practice of our Messenger Muhammad (ﷺ).
He has shown us the way to spread it...
So what are you waiting for?!
