We don’t reach our goals.
Whether daily, weekly or monthly.
Why?
Because we give up too early!
Why do we give up too early?
Because we lack the consistency to keep going…
And so it’s at times like this..
We should reflect and look at the adjustments we need to make.
In order to better our worldly life..
And stay consistent and upright in our deen.
So the question is..
How do we stay consistent?

Ayat Al Qur’an - Surah Hud (Prophet Hud) - (11:112)
فَٱسْتَقِمْ كَمَآ أُمِرْتَ وَمَن تَابَ مَعَكَ وَلَا تَطْغَوْا۟ إِنَّهُۥ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
So remain steadfast (upon the right way) as you have been commanded, (both you) and those who have turned back to Allāh with you, and do not transgress. Indeed, He is all-Seeing of whatever you do.
1 Hadith
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Take up good deeds only as much as you are able, for the best deeds are those done regularly even if they are few.”

عن أبي هريرة قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اكْلَفُوا مِنْ الْعَمَلِ مَا تُطِيقُونَ فَإِنَّ خَيْرَ الْعَمَلِ أَدْوَمُهُ وَإِنْ قَلَّ

Reflection Point
Throughout life..
We often have the urge to give up.
Due to its difficulties and hardships…
And sometimes due to our own ignorance.
We just simply don’t know what is coming next…
So we panic!
And let go of all ambition..
All the goals we have set....
And the determination and desire to succeed!
So wait...
Hold it right there!
It's all about perspective.
When we look at our beautiful religion.
It's not about the quantity of the deed.
But the quality of the deed!
So when we work a righteous deed.
It should be solely for the sake of Allah alone without any partners.
And in accordance with the Sunnah of his Messenger Muhammad ﷺ.
Once we understand this!
Then we should try to be consistent in working good deeds.
Even if it be small.
Why?
Because we don’t look at the size of the mountain.
But instead..
We take it step by step...
And guess what…
We eventually find ourselves at the peak!
It's exactly the same in our day to day lives.
Our life goals at work and family.
Set your goals.
Work towards them.
Remain consistent along the tumultuous journey.
And…
Again!
You’ll find yourself at the peak!
And even if you don’t..
You're in a much better position than when you started off.
Right?
So remain consistent in your religion and in your life goals.
Be good to others...
Take one step at a time...
And learn along the way.
Remember it’s the journey that makes you who you are.
Not the destination...
