But what is the true investment?
The investment that will be an aid for you, at a point when you can do no more deeds.
Today we will talk about the 7 types of ongoing charity that will continue after your death.
Let’s find out more..
Ayat Al Qur’an - Surah Al Imraan (The Family of Al Imraan) - (3:185)
Every soul will taste death. And you will only receive your full reward on the Day of Judgment. Whoever is spared from the Fire and is admitted into Paradise will ˹indeed˺ triumph, whereas the life of this world is no more than the delusion of enjoyment.
1 Hadith
Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Seven deeds of a servant continue to be rewarded after his death while he is in his grave: knowledge to be learned, constructing a canal, digging a well, planting a date-palm tree, building a mosque, handing down a written copy of the Quran, and leaving a righteous child who seeks forgiveness for him after his death.”

Reflection Point
Death is the only thing that is guaranteed for every single human being.
And it can be a very uncomfortable topic for many to discuss.
As it is something that many people can not imagine or do not know how to process.
But it is something that we have all seen through the experiences of family, friends or loved ones.
Are you prepared?
One of ways of preparing for it as a Muslim, is by performing righteous actions while you are living that you will be rewarded for after you pass away.
We call this “Sadaqah Jariyah”.
We always talk about investment of time, wealth and people.
And we are very careful about how we invest it.
What about your hereafter?
Infact, this whole life is an investment for the hereafter.
So let's be more selective about the things that truly matter and the things that will bare fruits for us once we have gone.
In today's email we shared the 7 types of Sadaqah Jariyah that continue after death.
Let's run through them again insha Allah..
Passing on knowledge, constructing a canal, digging a well, planting a date palm tree, building a mosque, handing down a written copy of the Qur’an and leaving behind a righteous child who seeks forgiveness for you after death.
This week, we have designed a well-crafted infographic for you to share with everyone you know!
It has been designed as a reminder first and foremost for ourselves here at Sunnah Infographics, our online community and the Muslim Ummah. We encourage you to share this week's infographic seeking the reward of ongoing charity that will continue once you pass away.
Imagine if you share an infographic that inspires someone to plant a Date Palm Tree..
Or encourages someone to pass down a written copy of the Qur’an to a family member..
Or just simply encourages someone to re-share the infographic!
You share in that reward!
These beneficial infographics are a form of beneficial knowledge that can be passed on to many across the world by a simple click of a button.
And can be recorded as an act of sadaqah jariyah with the right intention insha Allah.
Your task for this week is to put a plan together in your diary or yearly planner to at some point perform one of the actions that will aid you in your grave as an ongoing charity.
It’s a very simple but tremendously rewarding task!
What are you waiting for?
Remember...
"Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like one who did it."
